Day Thirteen of Autism Acceptance Month
A twelve year old with autism who still can't tie his shoes. What a tragic condition. I am so glad that organizations like Autism Speaks are working so hard to eradicate this tragic monster! Please watch this video of this tragic child with autism and you will agree.
Oh...did I forget to mention that he has an IQ higher than Einstein's and was going to college at age 10?
Jake Barnett is an example of why you never, never, give up on someone. His parents were told to put him in a special ed class and forget about him. Just watch this video, and read the description. Never give up on a person. Never give up. Who knows how many other great minds are being wasted in special ed classes and menial jobs-just because they don't conform to what our society's view of "normal thinking."
