Ben WAS and IS the personification of Autism!
He also was one of the most INCREDIBLE mindsets of all time. Yes, he flew kites in electrical storms, yes, he lamented the bald eagle being chosen as the national bird instead of the turkey. But his sheer intelligence was looked at over his strange quirks.
This world is FULL of young Ben Franklins who are just chomping at the bit to show the world what they CAN do! But, shouldn't people like Ben be looked at to see what people with autism are capable of?!
What people with autism can do has already been proven. Just watch this clip!
