An Openly Gay Man...

runs the Army.
Yes, you read that correctly. Just last week, Eric Fanning, an openly gay man, became appointed the Secretary of the Army. Just five years ago, homosexuals were banning from enlisting in the armed forces. Now a gay man runs the Army.
This goes to show how far we've come...and how far we still have to go. My guess is the next "marginalized" group that are currently denied enlistment into the armed forces will be those on the autism spectrum...and it will happen within the next five years, maybe less. Please see below my post on Cyber Command...my guess is it will soon become a separate branch of the armed forces, and will be the first to recruit autistics as uniformed servicemembers. (If that doesn't happen, the Air Force will soon enough...)
