A mother and her son...

This is a story I got from somewhere else. It's not my work, but if is true it is amazing:

A young boy came home from school one day with a note from his teacher for his mother. He handed his mother the note. Opening it, tears filled her eyes. She read the letter to her son:
"Your son is a genius. We cannot teach him at our school. You will have to teach him yourself."
So the mother taught her "genius" son as well as she could. Years went by and the boy grew up. One day he was cleaning out a closet when he came across a very old letter. It was the letter from his teacher to his mother. 
It read: "Your son is mentally retarded. We have no place for him at our school."
Who was the boy?
Thomas Edison.
Only one of the greatest inventors of all time.
