Memorial Day

My paternal grandfather's headstone. He served as a combat medic in WWII and suffered a traumatic brain injury. Sadly, he suffered from PTSD afterwards and never got the help that he needed and deserved. Let's take care of our veterans-THEY DESERVE IT!

In honor of my other grandfather, who also served in WWII but as a paratrooper...




I am sure that he used to sing this.
And of course, don't forget the state guards such as myself! We are soldiers and warriors just as much as the federal servicemen and women...and it does mean a lot to us when we are thanked for our service.
